JEVA GRISKJANE

Jeva Griskjane is a Berlin-Bolzano-based photographer, filmmaker and writer. After finishing school in Riga, Berlin became her second home. She completed her master's degree in Slavic and Italian Literature Studies at the Humboldt University, Berlin. She gained practical experience in film, photography and literature industries and has worked for the Venice International Film Festival, the Nikolaus Geyrhalter Film Production, the Theater Biennale and goEast Film Festival in Wiesbaden as a house photographer and supported the Berlin office of Lettre International with editorial work. She has published for art Magazin, ARTFORUM, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Der Spiegel, Theater Heute, Monopol, RIBA architecture journal, Weltkunst, Le Monde, Panel Magazine, Positive Magazine, Frankfurter Rundschau and Osteuropa. Currently, she works at Museion – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Bolzano, and runs the photography gallery Foto Forum.
